Post-Doctorate in Sociology by Universidade Paris-V-René Descartes, she holds PhD and masters degrees in Sociology, both by Instituto Universitário de Pesquisas do Rio de Janeiro (IUPERJ) – Universidade Cândido Mendes, and is graduated in Sociology by Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC–Rio). She is a teacher at the Post-Graduation Programme from the Departament of Social Sciences, at Pontifícia Universidade Católica-Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), and coordinates the Centro de Estudos Sociais Aplicados at Universidade Cândido Mendes (CESAP/UCAM). Presently she is dedicated to developing research with young people, about Facebook and other social networks, about Youth and demobilizations from urban living at contemporaneity.
