PhD student in Sociology at Instituto de Ciências do Trabalho e da Empresa – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), she has graduated in the same area and by the same faculty. Collaborates with the regulating entity for Social Comunication (ERC – Entidade Reguladora para a Comunicação Social) as a media analist. She was a researcher at Observatório da Comunicação (OberCom), in the areas of Cinema, Audiovisual e Information Society, between 1999 and 2012. She was a teacher at Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema, do Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa (ESTC/IPL) from 2005 to 2011. She was a member of the judging panel at Instituto de Cinema e Audiovisual (ICA) between 2009 and 2012, and was Vice-President of Apordoc – Associação pelo Documentário, between 2010 and 2013. In 2004 she entered the Course of Documentary Production of Ateliers Varan (Programa Gulbenkian Criatividade e Criação Artística), there producing the film "Nos Braços do Meu Xodó". She worked as a communication assistant, launching films, and collaborated in the production and programing of several film festivals, and was a radio reporter to TSF between 1998 and 2000.
